The Web...

Woke up to FOG this morning~!!

Craig and I rode out to look at stuff and check water tanks and he took me to where I needed to spray the weeds...

However, I was seeing ...other...stuff....

COOL WEBS!

I bet these would make great backgrounds for digital images....should *you* not have webs of
of your own...feel free t snag these

I thought I had another shot that showed tons of gathered webs over the tall grass and rails of the fence

but I don't see it right now...

It has turned off no wind today (rare in SD)
and about 100...

hope you found a nice cool spot someplace today

thanks for visiting

Those webs are fantastic, Mar! :> While I'm not a huge fan of spiders (yes, yes, I know they eat bugs & are a good thing in the grande circle of life...I'm all for them, as long as they stay out of the shower & no where near my bed...then, I can talk about the good they are in the world! :>), I am totally enthralled by their webs! I just love looking at them for the longest time. I think they are amazing! :>

What a collection of webs, and to think you collected them all in the same day. That in itself is pretty amazing.

And yes, it's hot in Kansas, too. Hot, humid, and supposed to get even hotter as the week goes on. Hope yours breaks, because there appears to be no end in sight at my place.

Mary - these are fantastic webs! Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! I'd love to have that first one in hard copy! (you'd have to use dark paper) and then put it in a large manila envelope so it got no folds in it. (hint hint). I would LOVE to play with it. They are all splendiforous! But the first one is the one I think I could do something with. You've got a good eye!!!!! I'll send you an email. Annie
