The NEW culvert

I came home to the crew getting these off the trucks
The pipes have arrived to repair the culvert..you saw the erupted pipe in a previous post
the plan is to have cement headers hold this one down
it will be quite the serious drainage pipe!
it should be 2 weeks and the road will be repaired...
those are bugs on the windshield not raindrops...

The pipes are huge ...seems the largest are 3m diameter.

Yep, it's sure a sign of summer when the bugs cover the windshield. Those are some really big drainage pipe. Ours are made of ceramic, not metal. They are mainly the size of the smaller ones on the truck. I suspect the large ones will go under the road?

i don't know how...but i will snap pictures as the stuff lays out!

No roads gone yet in our neck of the woods, THANK GOD! My in-laws were concerned about their 'bridge' however, as the creek was running over the top. Took out the garden, too. I'm certain you'll be keeping us posted with good pictures. That's one man-sized culvert!

Hi Mary,
Thanks for your visit! Those pipes are so big-you could happily live in them it looks like! Hope the repairs work!
