Not sure how I missed the post on hail, but I am glad yours was not so bad. We had hail the size of a baby's head. HONEST. They even showed it on TV and placed their baby up next to it. Thankfully, it was in the south part of town and missed my neighborhood altogether.
Now I want that mushroom. I've wanted to do some flower painting using mushrooms for a long time and haven't found any. Guess I don't know where to look (grin).
Last night it was clear enough to get a picture of the moon...i think it turned out pretty cool..
isn't this a pretty mushroom...i like the fringe of black and that it has irregular edges...

Love the moon and the mushroom-both quite mystical and magical! Is the mushroom a shaggy ink cap? Or something like that anyway.
That is a cool picture of the moon, Mary. I got up about 2:00 AM, and it was so clear the deck rail was throwing a shadow!
