Old Building Backs

While in Deadwood,
I snapped up pictures to what I thought might make some nice layers for texture in photoshop.
Here are the backs of some Fancy gambling casinos..the fronts are all modernized and sparkly...
Oh they are beautiful...crystal chandeliers and gorgeous furniture...of course the gaming machines and tables
but i love the old patina better...
Are you having much success with your on-line shops?...or do you prefer the gallery boutique style for selling ?

Boy, that one building looks like the one that we went in the back door, past the open fire pit built into the back wall, past the roasting beef, into the front of the building where long tables covered with white paper and big baskets of plump white bread sat.
We paid our money, grabbed some bread and waited for somebody to put a big plate of pulled beef down in front of us. OMG, it was so good. Some place in Texas. Some place outside of San Antonio.
Some many, many years ago.
oooooooooooohhhhhhhhh it was so good. :)Bea

I love the look of these old buildings, too. So much character.

I don't have an online shop, so would be interested in reading what your other readers have to say.

I haven't attempted to sell anything on-line - I prefer to let people look at the old paper and INQUIRE. I've had several of them, but when I tell them the price I usually don't hear back. I got into this for the web exposure for something that I thought was unique, and I still do. The old paper isn't paying its way yet, and perhaps never will.

I'm not really into the old paper art for the money anyway. I just do it cuz I enjoy the hunt, the research and the history. Kind of like these buildings. I can't see one of them without wondering where all of their old paper went...

TY everyone...we didn't get a lot of information to work with but maybe others might impart their wisdom later...
I have and currently am trying ETSY..so far not much luck.
I haven't given E-Bay a try yet
I have bought but never sold there..
until they closed up on me my best successes have been through physical galleries...
