Thinking Outloud...

http://www.robenmarie.com/journal-prompts/
I saw a journal prompt on Roben's page (as I was looking at the cool new store stuff)
I really like:
What view would you like to see from your bedroom window?and why?

So I thought I would think about it a moment here
and then journal the page
and show it when I am finished...

Maybe some of you would like to join in the same question?
Let us know if you do with a link to your page...

Thinking out loud...I would love to see a waterfall
(not a huge roaring one...a trickling one with some action, but not tons of action)
out my window...not necessarily the bedroom...

Waterfalls mean peaceful to me...
and
at the same time are energetic!
they are lush...with craggy spaces and a lot of times a cave!

In my cave I would have cool stuff ...like a table and chair/probably rocking chair...a lantern
a shelf with some inspirational books to look through when i visit...
a few supplies to art with...
and maybe a hammock...for a neato nap!

The doggies would love the pool at the bottom of the falls...so I would take them out with me when I went...and they would have some quality bonding time with me...

It would be a terrific picnicking spot too...the little ones would enjoy going there with granma...
and in the winter when the falls might freeze...(cause I don't have a roaring one)
wouldn't all that frozen glory be a sight!

How about it...are we up to see what each other might come up with...

You might like a different prompt...do tell!

I love the waterfall picture you drew with your post. How calm and peaceful! I think I would like a view of the woods with a brook running through the trees. I love the changing of the leaves from green to the pretty fall colors and like you, i find that water is calming but energetic too! Maybe a deer would wonder through my trees to drink at the brook. Have a nice Sunday!

I absolutely love the sound of running water. I often wondered what it would have been like to live in that Frank L. Wright house. The one built over the waterfall. Beautiful post today. :)Bea

A really great prompt Mar. I'll have to give it some thought and maybe even make a journal page. I can't wait to see your page when it's finished.

And congratulations on Seth sharing your secret on The Altered Page today.

Hi Mary,
I love the sound of your ideal view-especially your cosy cave! I would like to see a pretty rambling cottage garden and beyond that a view to the sea. I quite like the view we have here though-it is only the road and the houses opposite, but people watching of who comes and goes(or is it just being nosey?) and also the pretty house nearly opposite and the pretty church slightly farther along are good to look at.
Funny you should say that about the make-up-I used it on the actual page aas I thought it would be the easiest way to get the colours right! Yesterday I did the last page, today I am doing the cover and tomorrow I will do a blurb and then I am finished! How is yours going? I am really looking forward to getting back to 'normal' journalling!

Sounds like a beautiful view. I love waterfalls too -- not that we have that many in NYC - LOL!

Hi, Mar! I think I have the perfect view from my bedroom window! I can look out on grass, flowers, and trees and a bunch of birds and other wildlife. Love waterfalls though and you sure paint a lovely picture! :-)
