Nature's Bounty..

Momma bird has been sitting her nest for what seems like FOREVER! All the other nests hatched they learned to fly and away they went..

Isn't she cute!

Her baby has finally hatched...probably 3 or 4 days ago...that was when I noticed her feeding ...

Look close...see the little beak?

Purple sage is yet another variety...this is growing on our place..wild.

Nature is something to watch isn't it!

Hey Mar do you know what kind of bird it is? Such an interesting looking nest. And yes, I see the little beak. Birds are so fun to watch.

The purple sage is lovely, I'm sure it smells wonderful too. I love the things growing wild!!

I am always amazed at the places birds build nests - it's so fun to discover them and watch quietly. Love your beautiful photos!

Mary-I'm always amazed where birds choose to build their nests. You have caught a great picture here. I can see the tiny beak.

Awwwwww, Mar, I have some Purple Finches that still are nesting in my hanging plants. I thought everybody was all done and off to play in the woods. Don't you love having nests right by your doors? The parents look at you like you are going to snatch their babies.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and signing up. SMOOOOOOCH :)Bea
