Sunbathing Beauties

Aren't they beautiful! The fields are full of all varieties of sunflowers. These aren't the largest, but they were the closest I could get a decent photo of.

About another week, and they will begin turning for harvesting.

Don't you just love Sunflowers? They are so cheerful and sunny. We have fields and fields of them around here as well and they just cheer me up.

I was on a Road Trip Treasure Hunt a week ago, and sunrise going North on my right across a field of Mustard. A very different color than your sunflowers, but you get the idea. On my way home going South, I had the ripe field of mustard again on my right - just as beautiful against a beautiful sunset in the Big Sky. I like your sunflowers, Mar.

I love sunflowers- here in California the central valley has expansive fields of them- I always want to stop and photograph them but the freeways are menacing! Lovely photo Mar!

That's a lovely photo Mar! Sunflowers are so cheery and I love the way they turn with the sun.
Thanks for your comment the other day-weird that you had just seen a programme about that castle! It was an interesting place-lucky I didn't realize how haunted it was while I was there or I would have been scared!
Sarah :)
